Jason Kliwinski and Lia Nielsen started the Green Building Center (GBC) in 2010 with a goal of providing a one-stop location where Owners, Developers, Contractors, and Design Professionals could create the greenest projects possible, on time and on budget. The Center’s team of architects, interior designers, contractors, product vendors, and engineering consultants provided all of the services needed to design and renovate Gaia’s Way Farm.
Designs for Life LLC - Sustainable Architecture, Planning & Preservation
GBC founding member Designs for Life LLC will be led the architectural design and oversaw construction of this unique project. Designs for Life founder, Jason Kliwinski, AIA, LEED Fellow, started Designs for Life in 2003 to cater to the residential market and has since expanded to commercial, hospitality, retail, and historic preservation all with a focus on delivering the healthiest and most environmentally responsible results possible on time and within budget.
Simply Sustainable - Interiors + Materials
Simply Sustainable provides owner representation, project management and interior design services, including supply of a wide variety of green building materials through it’s Lambertville showroom. Founders Lia Nielsen and Mary Jane Augustine, a mother-daughter team, provided all of the interior design services and supplied the many healthy and environmentally responsible products used throughout this renovation, inside and out.
